Hero Worship

My husband was a hero yesterday. In our home, he is a hero everyday. For all I care, he can sit in his car all day and never do anything and he is still the reason his city stays safe. So I'm biased.
But yesterday, he was a hero for someone else. He found a missing person; a 77 year old man who suffers from dementia. You know where he found him? In the woods. Stuck in mud. The poor man must have been terrified.
I know this falls under the "All in a day's work" category, but seriously. I'm so proud of him.
I just needed to brag a bit.

It is hard NOT to be proud of them, isn't it? Good job to your hubby!!!

Thank goodness he found him. I hate to think about what might have happened if he didn't. It's not a minor thing to that man's family!

I think it's so cool how supportive you are of your husband!

yay! I love hearing this stuff. The small stuff AND the big stuff that happens can't be said enough and bragged about enough. They need it, don't they. I'm with Cop Mama. It's very cool how supportive you are of your hubby. And good job OH!
